New Klemm drilling rig for Van Leeuwen Verankeringen en Funderingen

The drilling rig KR 806-5G is the largest unit within the KR 806-series. This rig is equipped with a Diesel engine rated at 180 kW power output and a tandem load-sensing main hydraulic pump system. Therefore, the KR 806-5G is not only designed for high performance double head systems with hydraulic drifter but also has power reserves for the simultaneous use of other consumers such as flushing pumps.

The rig is equipped with an optimised kinematic mast-toboom link which offers a large range of slewing and mast positioning possibilities.

The kinematics enables you to reach the following positions:

• Drilling perpendicular left and right in front of the tracks with inclinations of up to 45°;
• Drilling parallel to the tracks
• Vertical drilling with tilting functions to both sides;
• Horizontal drilling in direction of travel and across the tracks to both sides.

One characteristic of the optimised kinematics is the greater load carrying capability. This increased carrying capability is the basis on which heavy drill masts and drilling systems can be mounted.
